Today is October the Thirty-first, and the official Minecraft Halloween Update is out! Woot! I'm so pumped I can barely contain myself! *drools*

And I'm not going trick-or-treating. T_T

In fact, none of the Tui Family children are going to.

Since it's Sunday today, Mom has decided not to let us go. Now, I'm not angry or anything, I'm just wondering: If All Hallows Eve was on a Sunday, would you go trick-or-treating?

I'm Back From Arizona

Well, I'm back from Arizona.

As I write this on my laptop (Grandpa gifted me one when we left, thank you Grandpa!), I feel a tear come to my eye as I fondly reminisce the brief length of time I spent with my family. I enjoyed every minute I spent sleeping on an air mattress at the Paseros, living in a hole (literally- I slept in the man-cave at Donna's),and taking up residence on Grandma's couch. In fact, if I had to chose between my bed and that couch, I would choose the couch. No joke.

Every time the family and I visit Arizona, I realize more and more that I need and want to live closer to my relatives. Texas is extremely lonely now. "Home" for me isn't Texas. It's wherever my family is.

I really miss you guys.

TAKS is Gone

I finished TAKS week. *Exhale*. Feels good to be done with TAKS. Now all I have to do for the rest of the year is answer pointless questions that are suposed to "prepare" me for 8th grade, but all they really are are fillers for the teachers to give me for the rest of the year, now that all the important stuff is done.

Tomorrow is the math TAKS test. Whoop. Can't wait.

TAKS are always easy- I'm never afraid of the questions. What I am scared of is the amount of time it takes to finish a TAKS. By that, I mean HOURS. It takes 3-4 hours for me to finish a TAKS, even when I'm working at top speed. I shudder to think how long it will take me to finish the one tomorrow. Fear the TAKS.

What's up, Ezralites!

OMGSH! I haven't updated this thing since forever! I am so sorry! :( I guess life just swept me away from you guys.

It's been so long! I have a lot to tell you! Of course, I'm not gonna say it all in this post! No, I'm gonna chop up the info and feed you just enough to keep you content until next week. HAH HAH! I'm so evil that way.

So, in this post, I'm gonna talk to you about this new series I have been reading, Eragon. The movie is nothing like the book, so if you've watched it, wipe the info from your mind. The book is long; it may take a week or so to read it, so don't worry about shortness. It's about a boy named Eragon, his dragon, Saphira, and a mythical world named Alagaesia. In the first book, Eragon finds Saphira's egg. Soon after bringing it home, it hatches, and in a few weeks Saphira is big enough for Eragon to ride. Unfortunately, the evil king, Galbatorix, catches wind of Eragon. He sends two monsters named Ra'zac to find Eragon. Saphira senses them and attempts to hide Eragon in the mountains. When they return, they find that the Ra'zac had killed Eragon's uncle and burned down his house. Eragon thirsted for revenge, so he sought out Brom, the village storyteller, and enlists his help. Brom teaches Eragon about his heritage as a Dragon Rider, and together they set out to kill the Ra'zac. Now, that's all I'm gonna give you; you'll have to read the book to find out the rest.

Today, I received a rather embarrassing cut. Well, it isn't the cut that's embarrassing, it's how I got it. I was in the locker room, talking with my friend Mostafa, when he asked me what I was going to do for my skit in drama class. I told him I was going to fight an eighth grader, and in the fight I was going to matrix. To demonstrate what I would do, I leaned back as far as I could, lost my balance, and on the way down I scratched my arm on a locker. It wasn't a big scratch, but it was as embarrassing as heck. Crap.

Hi Ezralites!

Right now I'm at aunt Debbie's. They have this really cool laptop - any piece of tech I see is "cool" - I'm using it to blog with right now. Now that I think about it, whenever the family's traveling mom usually lifts her rules about computers. I think that's awesome 'cause mom gives us half hour turns - barely enough time to get a good search going.

In case you didn't know, for the last week (15th to 20th) I've been at a boy scout camp, so I need to do some catchin' up. (Translation: Get ready for more of my random remarks.)

Right, so, while at scout camp, a few wonderful things happened.

A kid kicked my family jewels - twice.

I got smacked in the head with a paddle.

My swim trunks got ripped down the side, providing a beautiful gash on my leg

I had a heat stroke in the middle of the night

The other day, I discovered the ultimate food: COOKIES!

I know what you're thinking: Didn't he already know that cookies are the best food in the world? Well, I did! It's just that I didn't know about milk and cookies. Duh. Anyway, Mom had made these GINORMOUS cookies, and I saw Emma get out the milk. I asked what it was for, and she said that it was for dipping the cookies in. I tried it, and, well, it was love at first sight, dude! I can't wait for Mom to dish out some more cookies!
